The fifth word of verse (3:105) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A conjunction, verb and subject pronoun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The form VIII perfect verb (فعل ماض) is third person masculine plural. The verb's triliteral root is khā lām fā (خ ل ف). The suffix (الواو) is an attached subject pronoun.
