The fifth word of verse (3:125) is divided into 4 morphological segments. A conjunction, verb, subject pronoun and object pronoun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The imperfect verb (فعل مضارع) is third person masculine plural and is in the jussive mood (مجزوم). The verb's triliteral root is hamza tā yā (أ ت ي). The suffix (الواو) is an attached subject pronoun. The attached object pronoun is second person masculine plural.
