The second word of verse (43:44) is divided into 2 morphological segments. An emphatic prefix and verbal noun. The prefixed particle lām is usually translated as "surely" or "indeed" and is used to add emphasis. The indefinite verbal noun is masculine and is in the nominative case (مرفوع). The verbal noun's triliteral root is dhāl kāf rā (ذ ك ر).
