The first word of verse (51:4) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A conjunction and active participle. The prefixed conjunction fa is usually translated as "and". The form II active participle is feminine plural and is in the genitive case (مجرور). The active participle's triliteral root is qāf sīn mīm (ق س م).
