The first word of verse (56:8) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A resumption particle and noun. The connective particle fa is usually translated as "then" or "so" and is used to indicate a sequence of events. The noun is masculine plural and is in the nominative case (مرفوع). The noun's triliteral root is ṣād ḥā bā (ص ح ب).
