The fifth word of verse (4:14) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A conjunction and verb. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The form V imperfect verb (فعل مضارع) is third person masculine singular and is in the jussive mood (مجزوم). The verb's triliteral root is ʿayn dāl wāw (ع د و).
