The first word of verse (56:94) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A conjunction and verbal noun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The form II verbal noun is feminine and is in the nominative case (مرفوع). The verbal noun's triliteral root is ṣād lām yā (ص ل ي).
