The fifteenth word of verse (4:34) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A resumption particle and active participle. The connective particle fa is usually translated as "then" or "so" and is used to indicate a sequence of events. The active participle is feminine plural and is in the nominative case (مرفوع). The active participle's triliteral root is ṣād lām ḥā (ص ل ح).
