The fifth word of verse (68:51) is divided into 4 morphological segments. An emphatic prefix, verb, subject pronoun and object pronoun. The prefixed particle lām is usually translated as "surely" or "indeed" and is used to add emphasis. The form IV imperfect verb (فعل مضارع) is third person masculine plural and is in the indicative mood (مرفوع). The verb's triliteral root is zāy lām qāf (ز ل ق). The suffix (الواو) is an attached subject pronoun. The attached object pronoun is second person masculine singular.
