The eighth word of verse (4:75) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A conjunction and passive participle. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The form X passive participle is masculine plural and is in the genitive case (مجرور). The passive participle's triliteral root is ḍād ʿayn fā (ض ع ف).
