Quran Corpus and Grammar Tool
The Quran Corpus and Grammar Tool is a work in progress. Stay tuned for updates as we continue to develop this tool to provide in-depth analysis and insights into the grammar and linguistic structure of the Quranic text.
The first word of verse (89:10) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A conjunction and proper noun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The proper noun is masculine and is in the genitive case (مجرور). The case marker is a fatḥah instead of a kasrah because the proper noun is a diptote (ممنوع من الصرف).
