The eighth word of verse (4:139) is divided into 3 morphological segments. An interrogative alif, verb and subject pronoun. The form VIII imperfect verb (فعل مضارع) is third person masculine plural and is in the indicative mood (مرفوع). The verb's triliteral root is bā ghayn yā (ب غ ي). The suffix (الواو) is an attached subject pronoun.
