The twelfth word of verse (5:3) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A conjunction and active participle. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The form VII active participle is feminine and is in the nominative case (مرفوع). The active participle's triliteral root is khā nūn qāf (خ ن ق).
