The fourteenth word of verse (5:3) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A conjunction and active participle. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The form V active participle is feminine and is in the nominative case (مرفوع). The active participle's triliteral root is rā dāl yā (ر د ي).
