The tenth word of verse (5:8) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A verb, emphatic suffix and object pronoun. The imperfect verb (فعل مضارع) is third person masculine singular and is in the jussive mood (مجزوم). The verb's triliteral root is jīm rā mīm (ج ر م). The suffixed emphatic particle is known as the nūn of emphasis (نون التوكيد). The attached object pronoun is second person masculine plural.
