The seventh word of verse (5:18) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A conjunction, noun and possessive pronoun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The noun is masculine plural and is in the nominative case (مرفوع). The noun's triliteral root is ḥā bā bā (ح ب ب). The attached possessive pronoun is third person masculine singular.
