The eleventh word of verse (5:36) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A comitative particle, noun and possessive pronoun. The comitative usage of wāw (واو المعية) precedes a comitative object (مفعول معه), and is considered to be equiavelent to "with" (مع). The noun is masculine and is in the accusative case (منصوب). The noun's triliteral root is mīm thā lām (م ث ل). The attached possessive pronoun is third person masculine singular.
