The third word of verse (5:43) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A circumstantial particle, location adverb and possessive pronoun. The connective particle wa is usually translated as "while" and is used to indicate the circumstance of events. The location adverb is in the accusative case (منصوب). The location adverb's triliteral root is ʿayn nūn dāl (ع ن د). The attached possessive pronoun is third person masculine plural.
