The Quran Corpus and Grammar Tool is a work in progress. Stay tuned for updates as we continue to develop this tool to provide in-depth analysis and insights into the grammar and linguistic structure of the Quranic text.
The first word of verse (5:46) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A conjunction, verb and subject pronoun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The form II perfect verb (فعل ماض) is first person plural. The verb's triliteral root is qāf fā wāw (ق ف و). The suffix (نا) is an attached subject pronoun.
