The 32nd word of verse (5:106) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A resumption particle, verb and subject pronoun. The connective particle fa is usually translated as "then" or "so" and is used to indicate a sequence of events. The form IV imperfect verb (فعل مضارع) is third person masculine dual and is in the indicative mood (مرفوع). The verb's triliteral root is qāf sīn mīm (ق س م). The suffix (الألف) is an attached subject pronoun.
