The fourth word of verse (2:72) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A result particle, verb and subject pronoun. The result particle fa is usually translated as "then" or "so" and is used to indicate the result of a condition. The form VI perfect verb (فعل ماض) is second person masculine plural. The verb's triliteral root is dāl rā hamza (د ر أ). The suffix (التاء) is an attached subject pronoun.
