The seventeenth word of verse (6:35) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A conjunction, verb and object pronoun. The prefixed conjunction fa is usually translated as "and". The imperfect verb (فعل مضارع) is second person masculine singular and is in the subjunctive mood (منصوب). The verb's triliteral root is hamza tā yā (أ ت ي).
