The fifth word of verse (6:39) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A conjunction and noun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The indefinite noun is plural and is in the nominative case (مرفوع). The noun's triliteral root is bā kāf mīm (ب ك م).
