The first word of verse (6:59) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A resumption particle, location adverb and possessive pronoun. The connective particle wa is usually translated as "then" or "so" and is used to indicate a sequence of events. The location adverb is in the accusative case (منصوب). The location adverb's triliteral root is ʿayn nūn dāl (ع ن د). The attached possessive pronoun is third person masculine singular.
