The sixteenth word of verse (7:43) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A preposition and demonstrative pronoun. The prefixed preposition lām is usually translated as "for". The demonstrative pronoun is masculine singular. Together the segments form a preposition phrase known as jār wa majrūr (جار ومجرور).
