فَأَنجَيۡنَٰهُ وَٱلَّذِينَ مَعَهُۥ بِرَحۡمَةٖ مِّنَّا وَقَطَعۡنَا دَابِرَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَاۖ وَمَا كَانُواْ مُؤۡمِنِينَ ٧٢

Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran:

So We saved him and those with him by Our mercy and uprooted those who denied Our signs. They were not believers.

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali & Muhammad Muhsin Khan:

So We saved him and those who were with him by a mercy from Us, and We cut the roots of those who belied Our Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.); and they were not believers.
