إِذۡ يُرِيكَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ فِي مَنَامِكَ قَلِيلٗاۖ وَلَوۡ أَرَىٰكَهُمۡ كَثِيرٗا لَّفَشِلۡتُمۡ وَلَتَنَٰزَعۡتُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَمۡرِ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَلَّمَۚ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِيمُۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ ٤٣

Fathul Majid:

স্মরণ কর! আল্লাহ তোমাকে স্বপ্নে দেখিয়েছিলেন যে, তারা সংখ্যায় অল্প; যদি তোমাকে দেখাতেন যে, তারা সংখ্যায় অধিক তবে তোমরা সাহস হারাতে এবং যুদ্ধ বিষয়ে নিজেদের মধ্যে বিরোধ সৃষ্টি করতে। কিন্তু আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে রক্ষা করেছিলেন এবং অন্তরে যা আছে সে সম্বন্ধে তিনি বিশেষভাবে অবহিত।

স্মরণ করুন, যখন আল্লাহ্‌ আপনাকে স্বপ্নে দেখিয়েছিলেন যে, তারা সংখ্যায় কম¹; যদি আপনাকে দেখাতেন যে, তারা সংখ্যায় বেশি তবে অবশ্যই তোমরা সাহস হারাতে এবং যুদ্ধ বিষয়ে নিজেদের মধ্যে বিরোধ সৃষ্টি করতে। কিন্তু আল্লাহ্‌ তোমাদেরকে বাঁচিয়ে দিয়েছেন। আবশ্যই তিনি অন্তরে যা আছে সে সম্বন্ধে সবিশেষে অবগত।
