1 وَلَئِنۡ And even if އަދި ކަނޑައެޅިގެން ކަލޭގެފާނު ގެންނެވިޔަސް.
2 أَتَيۡتَ you come *
3 ٱلَّذِينَ (to) those who يَهودي ންނާއި نَصَارى އިންގެ ގާތަށް.
4 أُوتُواْ were given *
5 ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ the Book *
6 بِكُلِّ with all ހުރިހާ دليل އެއް.
7 ءَايَةٖ (the) signs *
8 مَّا not އެމީހުން ކަލޭގެފާނުންގެ قِبْلَة އާއި تَبَعَ ނުވާނެއެވެ.
9 تَبِعُواْ they would follow *
10 قِبۡلَتَكَۚ your direction of prayer *
11 وَمَآ and not އަދި ކަލޭގެފާނަކީވެސް تَبَعَ ވާނޭ ބޭކަލަކުކަމުގައި ނުވެއެވެ.
12 أَنتَ (will) you (be) *
13 بِتَابِعٖ a follower *
14 قِبۡلَتَهُمۡۚ (of) their direction of prayer އެމީހުންގެ قِبْلَة އާއި.
15 وَمَا And not އަދި އޭގެ އެއްބަޔަކުވެސް تَبَعَ ވާނޭ ކަމުގައި ނުވެއެވެ.
16 بَعۡضُهُم some of them *
17 بِتَابِعٖ (are) followers *
18 قِبۡلَةَ (of the) direction of prayer އަނެއްބައެއްގެ قِبْلَة އާއި.
19 بَعۡضٖۚ (of each) other *
20 وَلَئِنِ And if އަދި ކަލޭގެފާނު تَبَعَ ވެވަޑައިގެންފިއްޔާ.
21 ٱتَّبَعۡتَ you followed *
22 أَهۡوَآءَهُم their desires އެމީހުންގެ هَوَى نفس އާއި / އެމީހުންގެ އަމިއްލަ އެދުމާއި.
23 مِّنۢ from ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ އަރިހަށް އައިތަކެއްޗަށްފަހު.
24 بَعۡدِ after *
25 مَا [what] *
26 جَآءَكَ came to you *
27 مِنَ of عِلْم ގެ ތެރެއިން. (وحي ގެތެރެއިން).
28 ٱلۡعِلۡمِ the knowledge *
29 إِنَّكَ indeed, you އެހެންކަމަށްވަންޏާ ހަމަކަށަވަރުން ކަލޭގެފަނުވާހުށީ.
30 إِذٗا (would) then *
31 لَّمِنَ (be) surely among ކަނޑައެޅިގެން އަނިޔާވެރިންގެތެރެއިންނެވެ.
32 ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ the wrongdoers *
