قَالُواْ لَقَدۡ عَلِمۡتَ مَا لَنَا فِي بَنَاتِكَ مِنۡ حَقّٖ وَإِنَّكَ لَتَعۡلَمُ مَا نُرِيدُ ٧٩

Rashid Maash:

Ils répondirent : « Tu sais très bien que nous n’avons que faire de tes filles. Tu sais parfaitement ce que nous voulons. »

French Translation(Muhammad Hamidullah):

Ils dirent : "Tu sais très bien que nous n’avons pas de droit sur tes filles . Et en vérité, tu sais bien ce que nous voulons.”¹
