يَتَجَرَّعُهُۥ وَلَا يَكَادُ يُسِيغُهُۥ وَيَأۡتِيهِ ٱلۡمَوۡتُ مِن كُلِّ مَكَانٖ وَمَا هُوَ بِمَيِّتٖۖ وَمِن وَرَآئِهِۦ عَذَابٌ غَلِيظٞ ١٧

Rashid Maash:

qu’il avalera à petites gorgées avec les plus grandes difficultés. Assailli de tous côtés par les affres de la mort, il ne lui sera pas donné de mourir. L’attendront, en effet, d’autres tourments tout aussi horribles.

French Translation(Muhammad Hamidullah):

qu’il tentera d’avaler à petites gorgées. Mais c’est à peine s’il peut l’avaler. La mort lui viendra de toutes parts, mais il ne mourra pas; et il aura un châtiment terrible.
