وَأَنذِرِ ٱلنَّاسَ يَوۡمَ يَأۡتِيهِمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ فَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ رَبَّنَآ أَخِّرۡنَآ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ قَرِيبٖ نُّجِبۡ دَعۡوَتَكَ وَنَتَّبِعِ ٱلرُّسُلَۗ أَوَلَمۡ تَكُونُوٓاْ أَقۡسَمۡتُم مِّن قَبۡلُ مَا لَكُم مِّن زَوَالٖ ٤٤

French Translation(Muhammad Hamidullah):

Et avertis les gens du jour où le châtiment les atteindra et ceux qui auront été injustes diront: “Notre Seigneur! Accorde-nous un court délai, nous répondrons à Ton appel et suivront les Messagers.” N’avez-vous pas juré auparavant que vous ne deviez jamais disparaître ?

Rashid Maash:

Avertis les hommes du Jour où, face au châtiment, les impies s’écrieront : « Accorde-nous, Seigneur, un bref sursis afin que nous puissions répondre à Ton appel et suivre les Messagers. » Il leur sera répondu : « Ne juriez-vous pas, au cours de votre vie terrestre, que vous ne quitteriez jamais ce monde ?

16	وَنَتَّبِعِ	and we will follow	et suivrons
17	ٱلرُّسُلَۗ	the Messengers	Les Messagers.
18	أَوَلَمۡ	Had not	Et est-ce que ne pas
19	تَكُونُوٓاْ	you	vous avez
20	أَقۡسَمۡتُم	sworn	juré
21	مِّن	before	[d’]
