| 9 | وَلَٰكِنَّ | [and] but | اور لیکن |
| 10 | ٱلۡبِرَّ | the righteous[ness] | نیکی یہ ہے |
| 11 | مَنۡ | (is he) who | جو |
| 12 | ءَامَنَ | believes | ایمان لایا |
| 13 | بِٱللَّهِ | in Allah | ساتھ اللہ کے |
| 14 | وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ | and the Day | اور یوم |
| 15 | ٱلۡأٓخِرِ | [the] Last | آخرت کے |
| 16 | وَٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ | and the Angels | اور فرشتوں کے |
| 17 | وَٱلۡكِتَٰبِ | and the Book | اور کتاب کے |
| 18 | وَٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ | and the Prophets | اور نبیوں کے |
| 19 | وَءَاتَى | and gives | اور اس نے دیا |
| 20 | ٱلۡمَالَ | the wealth | مال کو |
| 21 | عَلَىٰ | in | اوپر |
| 22 | حُبِّهِۦ | spite of his love (for it) | اس کی محبت۔ اس کی محبت کے باوجود |
| 23 | ذَوِي | (to) those | |
| 24 | ٱلۡقُرۡبَىٰ | (of) the near relatives | رشتہ داروں کو |
| 25 | وَٱلۡيَتَٰمَىٰ | and the orphans | اور یتیموں کو |
| 26 | وَٱلۡمَسَٰكِينَ | and the needy | اور مسکینوں کو |
| 27 | وَٱبۡنَ | and (of) | اور |
| 28 | ٱلسَّبِيلِ | the wayfarer | مسافروں کو |
| 29 | وَٱلسَّآئِلِينَ | and those who ask | اور سوال کرنے والوں کو |
| 30 | وَفِي | and in | اور میں |
| 31 | ٱلرِّقَابِ | freeing the necks (slaves) | گردنیں (چھڑانے) |
| 32 | وَأَقَامَ | and (who) establish | اور قائم کرے |
| 33 | ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ | the prayer | نماز کو |
| 34 | وَءَاتَى | and give | اور دے |
| 35 | ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ | the zakah | زکوۃ کو |
| 36 | وَٱلۡمُوفُونَ | and those who fulfill | اور جو پورا کرنے والے ہیں |
| 37 | بِعَهۡدِهِمۡ | their covenant | اپنے عہد کو |
| 38 | إِذَا | when | جب |
| 39 | عَٰهَدُواْۖ | they make it | وہ عہد کریں |
| 40 | وَٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ | and those who are patient | اور جو صبر کرنے والے ہیں |
| 41 | فِي | in | میں |
| 42 | ٱلۡبَأۡسَآءِ | [the] suffering | تنگ دستی میں |
| 43 | وَٱلضَّرَّآءِ | and [the] hardship | اور تکلیف میں |
| 44 | وَحِينَ | and (the) time | اور وقت |
| 45 | ٱلۡبَأۡسِۗ | (of) [the] stress | جنگ میں |
| 46 | أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ | Those | یہی لوگ |
| 47 | ٱلَّذِينَ | (are) the ones who | وہ لوگ ہیں |
| 48 | صَدَقُواْۖ | are true | جنہوں نے سچ کہا |
| 49 | وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ | and those | اور یہی لوگ |
| 50 | هُمُ | [they] | وہ ہیں |
| 51 | ٱلۡمُتَّقُونَ | (are) the righteous | جو متقی ہیں |
