وَلَا تَأۡكُلُوٓاْ أَمۡوَٰلَكُم بَيۡنَكُم بِٱلۡبَٰطِلِ وَتُدۡلُواْ بِهَآ إِلَى ٱلۡحُكَّامِ لِتَأۡكُلُواْ فَرِيقٗا مِّنۡ أَمۡوَٰلِ ٱلنَّاسِ بِٱلۡإِثۡمِ وَأَنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ ١٨٨

Suhel Farooq Khan:

और आपस में एक दूसरे का माल नाहक़ न खाओ और न माल को (रिश्वत में) हुक्काम के यहाँ झोंक दो ताकि लोगों के माल में से (जो) कुछ हाथ लगे नाहक़ ख़ुर्द बुर्द कर जाओ हालाकि तुम जानते हो

Maulana Azizul Haque al-Umari:

तथा आपस में एक-दूसरे का धन अवैध रूप से न खाओ और न उन्हें अधिकारियों के पास ले जाओ, ताकि लोगों के धन का कुछ भाग गुनाह¹ के साथ खा जाओ, हालाँकि तुम जानते हो।
