وَلَا تَقُولُواْ لِمَا تَصِفُ أَلۡسِنَتُكُمُ ٱلۡكَذِبَ هَٰذَا حَلَٰلٞ وَهَٰذَا حَرَامٞ لِّتَفۡتَرُواْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡكَذِبَۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَفۡتَرُونَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡكَذِبَ لَا يُفۡلِحُونَ ١١٦

Suhel Farooq Khan:

और झूट मूट जो कुछ तुम्हारी ज़बान पर आए (बे समझे बूझे) न कह बैठा करों कि ये हलाल है और हराम है ताकि इसकी बदौलत ख़ुदा पर झूठ बोहतान बाँधने लगो इसमें शक़ नहीं कि जो लोग ख़ुदा पर झूठ बोहतान बाधते हैं वह कभी कामयाब न होगें

Maulana Azizul Haque al-Umari:

और उसके कारण जो तुम्हारी ज़बानें झूठ कहती हैं, मत कहो कि यह हलाल (वैध) है और यह हराम (निषिद्ध) है, ताकि अल्लाह पर झूठ¹ गढ़ो। निःसंदेह जो लोग अल्लाह पर झूठ गढ़ते हैं, वे (कभी) सफल नहीं होते।
