3 أَلَّا that (do) not که پرستش نکنید

5 إِلَّآ except مگر
6 إِيَّاهُ Him Alone فقط او را
7 وَبِٱلۡوَٰلِدَيۡنِ and to the parents و به پدر و مادر
8 إِحۡسَٰنًاۚ (be) good نیکی
9 إِمَّا Whether اگر
10 يَبۡلُغَنَّ reach البته می رسد
11 عِندَكَ with you نزد تو
12 ٱلۡكِبَرَ the old age پیری
13 أَحَدُهُمَآ one of them یکی از آنها
14 أَوۡ or يا
15 كِلَاهُمَا both of them هر دوشان
16 فَلَا then (do) not پس نگویید
17 تَقُل say پس نگویید
18 لَّهُمَآ to both of them به آن دو
19 أُفّٖ a word of disrespect اف، وای ، آه ، احساس ناراحتی
20 وَلَا and (do) not بانگ مزن بر آن دو
21 تَنۡهَرۡهُمَا repel them بانگ مزن بر آن دو
22 وَقُل but speak و بگو
23 لَّهُمَا to them به آن دو
24 قَوۡلٗا a word سخني
25 كَرِيمٗا noble ارجمند
