إِذۡ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ يَٰٓأَبَتِ لِمَ تَعۡبُدُ مَا لَا يَسۡمَعُ وَلَا يُبۡصِرُ وَلَا يُغۡنِي عَنكَ شَيۡـٔٗا ٤٢

French Translation(Muhammad Hamidullah):

Lorsqu’il dit à son père : “Ô mon cher père ! Pourquoi adores-tu ce qui n’entend ni ne voit, et ne te profite en rien ?

Rashid Maash:

Il dit un jour à son père : « Père ! Pourquoi adores-tu des idoles incapables d’entendre et de voir, et qui ne te sont d’aucune utilité ?
