وَكَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُم مِّن قَرۡنٍ هَلۡ تُحِسُّ مِنۡهُم مِّنۡ أَحَدٍ أَوۡ تَسۡمَعُ لَهُمۡ رِكۡزَۢا ٩٨

French Translation(Muhammad Hamidullah):

Que de générations avant eux avons-Nous fait périr ! En retrouves-tu un seul individu ? Ou en entends-tu le moindre murmure?

Rashid Maash:

Que de peuples avons-Nous anéantis avant eux ! En vois-tu un seul survivant, en perçois-tu le moindre murmure ?
