وَإِذَا دُعُوٓاْ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ لِيَحۡكُمَ بَيۡنَهُمۡ إِذَا فَرِيقٞ مِّنۡهُم مُّعۡرِضُونَ ٤٨

Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran:

And as soon as they are called to Allah and His Messenger so he may judge between them, a group of them¹ turns away.

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali & Muhammad Muhsin Khan:

And when they are called to Allâh (i.e. His Words, the Qur’ân) and His Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم), to judge between them, lo! a party of them refuses (to come) and turns away.
