Text Uthmani:

أَرَءَيۡتَ مَنِ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَٰهَهُۥ هَوَىٰهُ أَفَأَنتَ تَكُونُ عَلَيۡهِ وَكِيلًا ٤٣

French Translation(Muhammad Hamidullah):

Ne vois-tu pas celui qui a fait de sa passion sa divinité ? Est-ce à toi d’être un garant pour lui ?¹

Rashid Maash:

N’as-tu pas vu celui qui s’est entièrement soumis à ses passions¹ ? Est-ce toi qui pourras l’en empêcher ?
