أَلَمۡ تَرَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ كَيۡفَ مَدَّ ٱلظِّلَّ وَلَوۡ شَآءَ لَجَعَلَهُۥ سَاكِنٗا ثُمَّ جَعَلۡنَا ٱلشَّمۡسَ عَلَيۡهِ دَلِيلٗا ٤٥

French Translation(Muhammad Hamidullah):

N’as-tu pas vu comment ton Seigneur étend l’ombre ? S’Il avait voulu, certes, Il l’aurait faite immobile. Puis, Nous lui fîmes du soleil son indice,

Rashid Maash:

Ne vois-tu pas comment ton Seigneur, par le mouvement du soleil, étend l’ombre qu’Il pourrait tout aussi bien immobiliser,
