وَيَعۡبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنفَعُهُمۡ وَلَا يَضُرُّهُمۡۗ وَكَانَ ٱلۡكَافِرُ عَلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ ظَهِيرٗا ٥٥

Suhel Farooq Khan:

और लोग (कुफ्फ़ारे मक्का) ख़ुदा को छोड़कर उस चीज़ की परसतिश करते हैं जो न उन्हें नफा ही दे सकती है और न नुक़सान ही पहुँचा सकती है और काफिर (अबूजहल) तो हर वक्त अपने परवरदिगार की मुख़ालेफत पर ज़ोर लगाए हुए है

और वे अल्लाह के सिवा उस चीज़ की इबादत करते हैं, जो न उन्हें फ़ायदा पहुँचाती है और न नुक़सान पहुँचाती है और काफ़िर हमेशा अपने पालनहार के विरुद्ध मदद करने वाला है।
