قُلۡ أَرَءَيۡتُمۡ إِن جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡكُمُ ٱلنَّهَارَ سَرۡمَدًا إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ مَنۡ إِلَٰهٌ غَيۡرُ ٱللَّهِ يَأۡتِيكُم بِلَيۡلٖ تَسۡكُنُونَ فِيهِۚ أَفَلَا تُبۡصِرُونَ ٧٢

Fathul Majid:

বল:‎ ‘তোমরা ভেবে দেখছ কি, আল্লাহ তা‘আলা যদি দিনকে কিয়ামতের দিন পর্যন্ত স্থায়ী করেন, আল্লাহ তা‘আলা ব্যতীত এমন কোন মা‘বূদ আছে, যে তোমাদের জন্যে রাতের আবির্ভাব ঘটাবে যাতে তোমরা বিশ্রাম করতে পার? তবুও কি তোমরা ভেবে দেখবে না?

বলুন, ‘তোমরা আমাকে জানাও, আল্লাহ্‌ যদি দিনকে কেয়ামতের দিন পর্যন্ত স্থায়ী করেন, আল্লাহ্‌ ছাড়া এমন কোন্‌ ইলাহ্‌ আছে, যে তোমাদের জন্য রাতের আবির্ভাব ঘটাবে যাতে বিশ্রাম করতে পার? তবুও কি তোমরা ভেবে দেখবে না¹?’
