Text Uthmani:

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱتَّبِعُواْ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ قَالُواْ بَلۡ نَتَّبِعُ مَا وَجَدۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ ءَابَآءَنَآۚ أَوَلَوۡ كَانَ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ يَدۡعُوهُمۡ إِلَىٰ عَذَابِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ ٢١

French Translation(Muhammad Hamidullah):

Et quand on leur dit : "Suivez ce qu’Allah a fait descendre", ils disent : "Nous suivons plutôt ce sur quoi nous avons trouvé nos ancêtres." [Les suivront-ils] même si le Diable (Satan) les appellaient au châtiment de la fournaise ?

Rashid Maash:

Exhortés à se conformer à ce qu’Allah a révélé, les mécréants répondent qu’ils préfèrent suivre les traditions que leurs ancêtres leur ont léguées. Et si c’était Satan, en réalité, qui les poussait ainsi vers le châtiment du Brasier ?
