قُل لَّن يَنفَعَكُمُ ٱلۡفِرَارُ إِن فَرَرۡتُم مِّنَ ٱلۡمَوۡتِ أَوِ ٱلۡقَتۡلِ وَإِذٗا لَّا تُمَتَّعُونَ إِلَّا قَلِيلٗا ١٦

Fathul Majid:

তুমি বলে দাও, তোমরা যদি মৃত্যু অথবা হত্যার ভয়ে পালায়ন কর, তবে পলায়ন তোমাদের কোনই উপকারে আসবে না এবং তখন তোমাদেরকে অল্পই ভোগ করতে দেয়া হবে।

Dr. Abu Bakr Muhammad Zakaria:

বলুন, 'তোমাদের কোনো লাভই হবে না পালিয়ে বেড়ানো, যদি তোমরা মৃত্যু অথবা হত্যার ভয়ে পালিয়ে যাও, তবে সে ক্ষেত্রে তোমাদেরকে সামান্যই ভোগ করতে দেয়া হবে।'
