يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِذَا نَكَحۡتُمُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِ ثُمَّ طَلَّقۡتُمُوهُنَّ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن تَمَسُّوهُنَّ فَمَا لَكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِنَّ مِنۡ عِدَّةٖ تَعۡتَدُّونَهَاۖ فَمَتِّعُوهُنَّ وَسَرِّحُوهُنَّ سَرَاحٗا جَمِيلٗا ٤٩

Fathul Majid:

হে ঈমানদারগণ! যখন তোমরা মু’মিন নারীদেরকে বিবাহ কর, তারপর তাদেরকে স্পর্শ করার পূর্বে তালাক দিয়ে দাও, তখন তোমাদের জন্য তাদের ওপর কোন ইদ্দাত নেই যা তোমরা গণনা করবে। অতএব তোমরা তাদেরকে কিছু ভোগের সামগ্রী দাও এবং সম্মানজনকভাবে তাদেরকে বিদায় করে দাও।

হে ঈমানদারগণ! যখন তোমরা মুমিন নারীদেরকে বিয়ে করবে, তারপর তাদেরকে স্পর্শ করার আগে তালাক দিবে, তখন তোমাদের জন্য তাদের পালনীয় কোন 'ইদ্দত নেই যা তোমরা গুণবে। সুতরাং তোমরা তাদেরকে কিছু সামগ্ৰী দেবে এবং সৌজন্যের সাথে তাদেরকে বিদায় করবে।
