1 ۞ وَمِنۡ And from އަދި أهل كتاب ންގެ ތެރޭގައިވެއެވެ.
2 أَهۡلِ (the) People *
3 ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ (of) the Book *
4 مَنۡ (is he) who މީހުން / ބައެއްމީހުން.
5 إِن if قِنْطَار އެއްހާ ގިނައެއްޗެތި ކަލޭ އެމީހަކަށް އަމާނާތްކުރިނަމަވެސް.
6 تَأۡمَنۡهُ you entrust him *
7 بِقِنطَارٖ with a great amount of wealth *
8 يُؤَدِّهِۦٓ he will return it އެއެއްޗެއް އެމީހަކު ކަލެއަށް އަދާކޮށްދޭނޭ (އަމާނާތްތެރިން).
9 إِلَيۡكَ to you *
10 وَمِنۡهُم And from them އަދި އެމީހުންގެތެރޭގައި ބައެއްމީހުންވެއެވެ.
11 مَّنۡ (is he) who *
12 إِن if އެންމެ ދީނާރެއްގެ މިންވަރު އެމީހަކަށް ކަލޭ އަމާނާތްކުރިނަމަވެސް.
13 تَأۡمَنۡهُ you entrust him *
14 بِدِينَارٖ with a single coin *
15 لَّا not އެއެއްޗެއް އެމީހަކު ކަލެއަށް އަދާނުކޮށްދޭނޭ. (خيانة ތެރިން).
16 يُؤَدِّهِۦٓ he will return it *
17 إِلَيۡكَ to you *
18 إِلَّا except އެ އަދާކޮށްދިނުމަށް ކަލޭ އެދިއެދި އެކަމުގައި قائم ވެހުރިއްޔާމެނުވީ.
19 مَا that *
20 دُمۡتَ you keep constantly *
21 عَلَيۡهِ over him *
22 قَآئِمٗاۗ standing *
23 ذَٰلِكَ That އެގޮތަކީ.
24 بِأَنَّهُمۡ (is) because they އެހެނީ ހަމަކަށަވަރުން އެމީހުން ބުނިކަމެވެ.
25 قَالُواْ said *
26 لَيۡسَ Not އަހުރެމެންގެމައްޗަށް (واجب ވެގެން) ނުވެއެވެ.
27 عَلَيۡنَا on us *
28 فِي concerning أُمِّيُّ ންނާމެދު އެއްވެސްކުށެއް. (عربي ންނާމެދު އެއްވެސް ހަމައެއްލަމައެއް).
29 ٱلۡأُمِّيِّـۧنَ the unlettered people *
30 سَبِيلٞ any [way] (accountability) *
31 وَيَقُولُونَ And they say އަދި އެމީހުން ބުނަނީއެވެ.
32 عَلَى about ﷲ ގެމައްޗަށް ދޮގު.
33 ٱللَّهِ Allah *
34 ٱلۡكَذِبَ the lie *
35 وَهُمۡ while they އެމީހުން ދެނެތިބޭ حال.
36 يَعۡلَمُونَ know *
