قَالَ أَنَا۠ خَيۡرٞ مِّنۡهُ خَلَقۡتَنِي مِن نَّارٖ وَخَلَقۡتَهُۥ مِن طِينٖ ٧٦

Tafheem e Qur'an - Syed Abu Ali Maududi:

اُس نے جواب دیا "میں اُس سے بہتر ہوں، آپ نے مجھ کو آگ سے پیدا کیا ہے اور اس کو مٹی سے"

Maulana Muhammad Junagarhi:

اس نے جواب دیا کہ میں اس سے بہتر ہوں، تو نے مجھے آگ سے بنایا، اور اسے مٹی سے بنایا ہے.¹
