وَأَمَّا مَنۡ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ وَنَهَى ٱلنَّفۡسَ عَنِ ٱلۡهَوَىٰ ٤٠

Abdul Hameed Baqavi:

எவன் தன் இறைவனின் முன்னால் (விசாரணைக்காக) நிற்பதைப் (பற்றிப்) பயந்து, (தப்பான) சரீர இச்சையை விட்டுத் தன்னைத்தடுத்துக் கொண்டானோ,

ஆகவே, யார் தன் இறைவனுக்கு முன் (தான்) நிற்கின்ற நாளைப் பயந்து, (தீய) இச்சையை விட்டு ஆன்மாவைத் தடுத்தானோ,
