وَقَالُواْ لَوۡلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيۡهِ مَلَكٞۖ وَلَوۡ أَنزَلۡنَا مَلَكٗا لَّقُضِيَ ٱلۡأَمۡرُ ثُمَّ لَا يُنظَرُونَ ٨

Tafheem e Qur'an - Syed Abu Ali Maududi:

کہتے ہیں کہ اس نبی پر کوئی فرشتہ کیوں نہیں اُتارا گیا۔¹اگر کہیں ہم نے فرشتہ اُتاردیا ہوتا تو اب تک کبھی کا فیصلہ ہو چکا ہوتا، پھر انہیں کوئی مُہلت نہ دی جاتی۔²

Maulana Muhammad Junagarhi:

اور یہ لوگ یوں کہتے ہیں کہ ان کے پاس کوئی فرشتہ کیوں نہیں اتارا گیا اور اگر ہم کوئی فرشتہ بھیج دیتے تو سارا قصہ ہی ختم ہوجاتا۔ پھر ان کو ذرا مہلت نہ دی جاتی۔¹
