وَإِذۡ أَخَذۡنَا مِيثَٰقَكُمۡ لَا تَسۡفِكُونَ دِمَآءَكُمۡ وَلَا تُخۡرِجُونَ أَنفُسَكُم مِّن دِيَٰرِكُمۡ ثُمَّ أَقۡرَرۡتُمۡ وَأَنتُمۡ تَشۡهَدُونَ ٨٤

Fathul Majid:

এবং আমি যখন তোমাদের অঙ্গীকার গ্রহণ করছিলাম যে, পরস্পর রক্তপাত করবে না এবং স্বীয় বাসস্থান হতে আপন ব্যক্তিদেরকে বহিস্কৃত করবে না; তারপর তোমরা স্বীকৃতি দিয়েছিলে এবং তোমরাই ওর সাক্ষী ছিলে।

আর স্মরণ কর, যখন তোমাদের প্রতিশ্রুতি নিয়েছিলাম, ‘তোমরা একে অপরের রক্তপাত করবে না এবং একে অন্যকে স্বদেশ থেকে বহিষ্কার করবে না, তারপর তোমরা তা স্বীকার করেছিলে। আর তোমরা তার সাক্ষ্য দিচ্ছ।
